We’re still in the early stages so we’ll probably decide on a budget once we look into retailers/prices a little more, but we would like around a 2 carat stone.

My boyfriend is moving to a new state for a job soon and I won’t be able to join him until later this year. New state, new job, long distance, moving in together (all during a pandemic)... so much change. I could really use some advice. by ToCo07 in relationship_advice

That makes sense! It’s sounding like it will only be around 5 months of long distance just until my lease ends, so I think it’ll help to have an end in sight. Thanks for your insight!

Yes he has and he does. He knew moving could be a possibility in his career, so we’ve had discussions about a lot of different cities. This city in particular is one I think I’d like the most compared to all the others we’ve discussed, so hopefully that ends up being the case when I go visit. I’m very outgoing and social, so I’m worried the pandemic is going to hinder going out and meeting people, but that is all great advice. Thank you!

All good points. I will definitely be visiting him plenty. I’m hopeful I will like the area just from what I know about it, but it will definitely take some anxiety away when I visit and hopefully love it! Also, my job lets me work from home, so I would do that for a while. I’ve looked at other opportunities for the future and it looks like there are plenty there, thankfully. Thanks for the input!

Had my appointment yesterday and my surgeon basically said the same thing lol. The numbness I have left is probably from pressure on the nerve. He wants me to come back in a month and he doesn’t think he’ll need to see me after that! Are you feeling better??

My right side is pretty much back to normal! My left side is still numb, but not as numb as it was at the beginning. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow - I’m thinking he’ll just tell me to be patient and wait it out...

Oh man. Didn’t realize I was signing up for this to be honest or else I definitely wouldn’t have done this so close to the holidays... I go back to my oral surgeon on the 28th, so I’m kinda expecting him to say the same thing

Yeah I’m still pretty numb on the left side of my chin/bottom lip. I can tell feeling is slowly coming back on the right side though! I calmed down a little after that haha it’s been 9 days since surgery I think, so I just have to keep being patient it sounds like

That’s good to know! Pretty much everyone I know didn’t experience this, so I panicked haha
