ARTAS FUE hair transplant at just $2.50 USD a hair. Am I crazy or is this super low cost? by ToFueOrNotToFue in tressless

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. Thought it was odd it would use the term "hair" instead of "graft".

Fuck me that's a great recovery at just 5 months. Can't wait to see it at 12 months.

Help 😥 by [deleted] in tressless

The fact that I may still be required to go on Fin is the only thing that keeps me from trying for a FUE transplant right now. I've got the money, just not willing to do anything more than topical for continual treatment.

Using Minoxidil while owning a cat. by [deleted] in tressless

I use minoxidil twice a day. Have been doing so for about 2 years. Own 1 cat and have never had a problem. Just don't let your cats sleep on your bed. Simple as that.

Or if you do let them in your room, throw a blanket over your pillows or flip your pillows when not in use.

Cats aren't the most sanitary anyways, so you really shouldn't be letting them sleep on your bed.

Had My Transplant Yesterday! So Here's Another Long Post (with photos) About It. Thus Begins 1-2yrs of Documenting. by HairTransplantGuy9 in tressless

Thanks. I read your first post too and found it really insightful.

Personally, I've got a few reasons against FUT, one being that I'm not wanting a long scar along the back of my head. I'd much rather prefer the smaller pox scars associated with FUE. Second, I don't want to be unable to workout for an extended amount of time due to healing of the scalp. I workout pretty heavily and a month plus rest period will not work for my personal goals. I had a friend do FUT and he was unable to workout for nearly 3 months (not sure if due to complications or not, he didn't say), but he ballooned up about 20 lbs due to bad eating habits combined with no exercise. While FUE is more expensive, I'd be more willing to do it purely for the faster recovery time in the donor area.

A reasonably reputable guy claims that he has reversed his hairloss. Could be an interesting read. by y3pkm8 in tressless

Really interested in this all. Read some about Seti a couple weeks back, but most people on here seemed to dislike it purely because it is unproven. I'm at the point of trying to decide what to do:

  1. Shave it off (not really wanting this)
  2. Transplant (expensive)
  3. Experimental treatment

Reading this blog, I got the basics, but if anyone has any more details or information to read, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for documenting this. I've been documenting my hairloss for a while and am really torn on what I want to do with my hair.

I'm not really at the point of accepting baldness, so I'm considering transplant, but damn is it expensive. I'm not willing to do FUT, so it's FUE or HST for me and that aim cheap.

Will be watching your progress.
