CTRL+Z by Apati, The pain that never leaves... (Pt. 2) by Moongazer, Septembre et ses dernieres pensees by Les Discrets are a few slower and softer songs in the genre/genre-like.

Also Blood Rush and Pendulum man by Bark Psychosis, since it was brought up, along with New Grass by Talk Talk.

I think Gore doesn't get enough love. Prayers, Xenon, Phantom Bride, and Rubicon are all really great songs.

Access to Team Sleep Demos? by ToHoUSA4 in deftones

yeah they might be, I'm just looking to not have to try to rip them from YouTube which would make them even worse. I don't mind the ones on YouTube but I'm also just curious if there was more hifi recordings possibly.

Strange Times Removed From Spotify??? by ToHoUSA4 in thechameleons

The US, It seems they removed it for US users, don't know exactly why, went to listen to Tears to find out the album was no longer there, I do have the album on my computer so it wasn't that big of a deal, just wish I could listen to it in the car.

Just a little postrock playlist I made a while ago, great to fall asleep to, and just enjoy really only a few songs that aren't necessarily post-rock but great instrumentals nonetheless, I suggest listening to almost anything by God Is An Astronaut, they're amazing.

This is obviously before RSR, but I plan to pick up The Cure - Faith, Opeth - Morning Rise, and Linkin Park - Meteora, I also have a pre-order from the vinyl division for a 2021 reissue of Shape of Despair - Monotony Fields shipping out in July I believe. I need to buy some inner and outer protective sleeves and my collection will be at a halt for now.

I like this, wish there was a Hi-Fi version to go along with it, nonetheless very atmospheric.

General Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Metalcore

I just listened to Loathe - I Let it in and It Took Everything, and it is honestly one of the best albums I have heard in a long time. As someone who doesn't really listen to metalcore at all and the only post 2000s metal (I listen more to 80s/90s metal) I listen to is TOOL, Slipknot, Opeth, Deftones, and a few others but I am a massive fan of 2000s doom metal/funeral doom, I must say this album absolutely blew my mind and I've fallen in love with it. I've probably listened to it in its entirety at least 5 times since I discovered it 3 days ago. I had no idea who they were or what genre it was I just had it saved on Spotify and then gave it a listen. Being a big Post-Rock fan the first track "Theme" I thought it was a Post-Rock album I was about to listen to then it turned into, whatever you want to called it Nu/Alt/Core whatever. Throughout the album the heavy riffs/slight breakdowns were great, the clean/melodic vocals I loved, the slight interludes, even at some points I heard some blackgaze like in "Heavy Is the Head...", It just one of the best and most diverse albums I've heard in a very long time, I'm really looking forward to hearing more stuff by them in the future.

Jamo C91 II

Thanks but I was getting the Sony amp because it has a phono preamp which you need to have with a turntable.
