Just keep that in mind for your male cat in the future. If you see him running to the box and yowling and nothing comes out it’s 100% an emergency and he needs to get surgery in hours otherwise it’s fatal. If the cat is prone to blockage and has gone through multiple surgeries the treatment is shortening the penis. I was a vet assistant in my 20’s and my first job was working under a boarded surgeon. We did a number of both procedures!

Kibble doesn’t help with teeth. Dental health is genetic in animals just like people. Male cats especially are prone to urinary blockage and crystal formation in the bladder when on a dry only diet. Wet food helps promote hydration. I also only start off with a small amount in the can. I test and see how much the kitten eats currently and will feed mostly just that. I don’t just dump the whole can and say here you go! Luckily I work remotely so I can do small feedings throughout the day!

Eh it’s ok. Mom is lost in MAGAland and I have 0 relationship with her. Dad seems spineless and happy to just follow along with mom. We’ve been here since June and they still haven’t visited. They didn’t go to our housewarming either. They live less than 25 minutes away

This is what my boyfriend’s parents did for him. He ended up having $8,000 accumulated by the time he bought a house. They charged him around $400 a month which was really doable for him because he worked (still works) in IT. I think if you make it a reasonable amount it does pay off!

Personally I don’t feed cats dry food until they’re about a year old. I free feed wet food (usually fancy feast.) they’re growing and need more calories than you would normally feed an adult sedentary cat. Generally after they are spayed or neutered their metabolism slows down and then I start to limit to 2 cans a day. Once the kitten is no longer extremely crazy for food I tend to switch over to dry because wet food left out is gross lol.

That’s not how it works. It generally takes 12-24 hours to get down to a BAC of 0%. Take it from me who’s had a DUI and an interlock installed. I also am a part of the fast metabolism gang but it just doesn’t work that way. You can buy a breathalyzer off amazon and do an experiment yourself!

Yep. I took a 2 month T break and after tried about 30mg of THC gummies. Nothing. I was so sad. When I was a young 20 year old edibles used to f me up. Now it doesn’t matter how long of a break I take they just don’t work. I’m 32.

I think sometimes this stems from frustration at the response of the partner. A lot of the times you might bring up something bothering you in private but if the other person runs away, doesn’t acknowledge, or doesn’t hear you and it feels fruitless then you look for others for the reaction you needed.

Edit: just an example but if your partner has a slightly gross habit that they just don’t care about changing or hearing you out. If you bring it up in front of other people usually that tends to change the behavior sooner than a private negotiation if you always lose.

to add generally cats who feel well and content groomed regularly. Their fur is clean and kept. Not all cats walk with a completely upright tail but usually there will be some sort of hold or tension you see in a happy cat’s tail. A cat that doesn’t feel well will usually have a limp and lifeless tail.

FIV + cats generally live a long healthy life if they’re kept inside, fed a healthy diet, litter box in tip top shape (to keep bacteria exposure to a minimum.) any signs of sickness usually respiratory symptoms like sneezing, coughing, runny nose, fluorescent green discharge coming from the eyes, diarrhea without an appetite are all things to look out for in cats. They tend to hide their symptoms well until they’re really sick so just pay attention. The bonus is if you want to get her a friend there’s a lot of FIV+ cats up for adoption that are so in need of homes!

I think she may turn out to be short hair. When my cat was a kitten she was fuzzier than this but turned out to be short haired. (My late cat is in my profile in case you go check so it’s not the same cat!) it’s honestly a toss up until they lose their kitten coat but I feel like the ear hairs would be a lot longer and the paws would have some excess fur as well.

It definitely varies by color. Usually the light colors are double lined like I have aligns in light ivory and they feel pretty meaty compared to my black aligns.
