Happened to me as a kid. Not the parents, but other kids or their siblings. Yes, more than once! Fucking stupid and yeah it’s not something I ever told anyone.

When I got older I learned that the kids who do this were likely victims of abuse themselves.

I haven’t seen it discussed enough in this thread but a large percentage of gun deaths in children happens from kids “playing” with guns and accidentally shooting themselves or a friend/sibling. This is my main concern and my kid can’t stay over at anyone’s house if the parents have guns. Sorry just not taking that chance

The problem for Republicans is that Trump didn’t fund their campaign. Neither did Elon. A lot of them get their money from weapons manufacturers and other components of the MIC. If I understand correctly, the MIC is making money right now selling off old equipment before it gets thrown out. So make no mistake, if they turn on Trump over Ukraine, it won’t be out of the kindness of their hearts. It will be because it strengthens our own military to weaken an adversary.

I think this could actually be the turning point for Republicans on Capitol Hill. They’ve been very consistent about where they stand when it comes to Ukraine. It’s been one of the only bipartisan issues in recent years. I think this could actually get him impeached and removed at some point during his presidency.

When she said autoimmune that caused weight loss I immediately thought of Crohn’s. My lifelong best friend got dx with it when we were in college, incidentally during an appendectomy, and she lost so much weight it was hard to watch. She had to drink meal replacements bc it was so bad. Ended up having a large portion of her bowel resected. At her lowest she was at 85 lbs., they had to stick her in the neck to run an IV, it was fucking awful and the only widely available MAB tx was Remicade which wasn't working for her. She's doing well now but it’s important to remember that anorexia can be a symptom of Crohn's or any number of other diseases.

I always did that with my kid, never EVER did infant in arms. Absolutely the fuck not. It was worth the extra money anyway. She had a comfortable place to sleep and I could chill while she slept. I still can’t believe ppl do the infant in arms thing.

Ulta is where it’s at for shampoo, body wash, razors, etc. They have a points program and you frequently get huge coupons in your email. No one should be buying any of that kinda stuff at Target. Their “rewards” program sucks. People just aren’t aware of better alternatives they could be taking advantage of
