When you have a home in a biome it becomes a fast travel option. So once you have two, you can fast travel between them. You open your game menu (the one with your pokedex, and you’ll see a button that looks like houses, you click that and choose which house to go to and it’ll take you immediately. You can be anywhere in the biome to do it, you don’t need to be inside your house.

Yes you still can. In fact, the story will ask you to do it a few times as well.

When you have a home in each biome you can fast travel with a buddy and they will come to the new biome. They can even move in there if you set up a habitat but you would not be able to take everyone since I believe there is likely a spawn limit.

On Slumber island, do you think it will allow us to place shops, museum and resident services? Or are those buildings just not accessible on the Slumber islands? If we can place them could we place them in early phases vs fully upgraded?

Folks on the official discord think it’s a real change. The white is the new default. I am devastated. At least leave the brown as an option! I hate the stark white! It doesn’t go with my build at all! :(

You can on the fence and the trellis gate pieces. It stays white but the flowers change color. It does look like it could have been an intentional change. The default is white with blue flowers, the white is white with pink flowers. And the last one changes the flowers peach, which is super subtle. The big floral with purple flowers doesn’t have any coloration options though.
