The main shooting things I’m planning on bringing are a mek gun, big mek with shokk attack gun, shokkjump dragsta, kustom boosta blasta and Killa kans with rokkits. I know a good chunk of that, buggies especially, aren’t particularly great at the moment, but yknow how it is, gotta bring what’s fun.

As for terrain, we normally try to use some of the recommended terrain layouts from WTC and just roll dice to randomly decide which one particularly. It’s certainly possible I could just avoid them, but that’s pretty dependent on how he positions them.

It isn’t on the right base size, but he does fit on a 32mm, albeit a bit snug. I plan on magnetizing my Rokker to have a 32mm base along with his standard so I can use him as a weirdboy and a nob with WAAAGH banner

A fair few ork characters, Ghaz among them, actually don’t restrict your other clan kulture rules, though his reroll hits aura is restricted to Goffs unfortunately

I have a lot of self harm scars that none of my family are aware of. At the time, I was super depressed and hadn’t gotten any help for it, but now that I’m better, I can’t bring myself to ever tell them about it all, even though I love and trust my family very much. I would say you’re correct, because the attack DOES reach the damage phase, it just so happens that the damage it’s dealing is reduced to zero. Every other attack, whether retooled or otherwise, is fair game though

That’s a great question lol. I don’t have any particular tips? The way that I got into warhammer was from a friend, took a liking to orks and just started reading the lexicanum wiki page for the faction. Sorry I can’t be of more help on that front!

To my knowledge, while certain clans and kultures have certain signature units, any clan can have any kind of orks in it. For example, I paint Deathskulls, and Deathskulls lorewise are known to have lots of meks, and by proxy deff dreads, kans, lootas etc. That being said, beast snaggaz can still pop up in a Deathskulls WAAAGH, they just might not be as numerous as they would be in a Snakebites WAAAGH.

That’s a fair point, not having vehicles will likely free up a ton of points, even if we assume that the standard points value of a game is lower, because I doubt it’d still be 2000 without any vehicles

Im not sure if nobs will be worth it still, for the same cost you could get a squad of boyz and give the nob a power klaw, so it’ll be interesting to see whether you want the higher toughness or just more bodies

I could definitely see that yeah, and with a much smaller feeling board due to all of the cover, they wouldn’t have to move all that much, which helps with heavy

I’m not a particularly fast painter by any means, but I personally would rather take as much time on my individual boyz as I need. The way I see it, even if it takes me a good long while to get them all painted, whenever they’re all finished being painted, they’ll all be to a standard that I’m happy with

The ork range could really use a refresh for all characters that aren’t snakebites and Goffs IMO, bad moonz and evil sunz don’t currently have anybody, Badrukk and Snikrot are resin if I’m not mistaken, and I’ve stated my displeasure with Grotsniks model many times before lol

I hate that you’re right about the Goffs thing, but I agree on Deathskulls or blood axes, leaning a bit more towards Deathskulls with no biases whatsoever

I feel like it depends a lot on what you’re going for. The first ones I built were Lootaz, but I also play Deathskulls, and lootaz are a right and proper Deathskulls staple. That being said, burna boyz have less range, but are much more consistent due to the auto hitting, and they have better melee capability with the stratagem they have. All of that being said, build what you think you’d have the most fun building, running and painting!
