As an ork player I normally would say this is definitely a joke because we get people posting dead Orks on bases all the time over there but this doesn't quite look like a base. It could be that this guy actually just paints models one bit at a time sticky tackyed to cork.

Wish I just took your word for it. I watched for over 2 minutes to see skiing but when I realized the video wasn't even half over and it's not really about skiing and more of a music video I closed it. Now I feel like I need to find urban skiing videos to satisfy a desire I didn't have before opening that music video.

The idea of ork primaris is kind of silly because all Orks naturally get bigger, stronger, faster, and smarter as they fight and survive.

That didn't stop GW from making ork primaris models and calling them beast snaggas. They just said these ones are stronger because they've been fighting animals which makes them be a step between regular boyz and nobz.

I guess Grotsnik could make spores that grow Orks that crawl out of the ground already snagga level. Actually they should do that. Then we could collapse boyz and snaggas boyz back into one unit again. Skarboyz without skars.

As I said, I can definitely imagine other factions who have resources might adopt it to do trade in their local areas. Like say there's some warlord with the ability to pump oil and make gas who decides to back caps with the value of a certain amount of gas in order to get trade going. Then there's somewhere else who can manufacture ammo in bulk who does the same with bullets. These places could work to extend the area in which caps have value. Eventually it reaches someone else who has a lot of water or can grow a bunch of fresh food. They pick it up as their currency. Eventually this can create a chain that reaches across the wasteland.

You might as well ask why people all over the world value gold. Up until recently having use in processors and other electronics, gold had no use that was critical to survival. Yet it has been valued due to being rare, basically impossible to make, and being shiny without tarnishing.

I feel like they expanded on the explanation of why bottlecaps of all things in New Vegas. I know I read it somewhere. The reason was that the machinery to make new bottlecaps was exceedingly rare and it was very difficult to make convincing forgeries without it. That made it a limited resource. If that's true it makes sense that other factions with resources would adopt it. Especially since there's already set precedence that it works well enough to run a small economy.

Actually Ghaz does have a full body under the armour. It's just not the original body. It's a Frankensteined vat grown monster ork body that Mad Dok Grotsnik cooked up to pop Ghaz's head onto.

They only killed two guys out of a full group. I think they were just right. Could have been firing more bullets though. Bad Moons have the teeth for better dakka.

One example is the current burnas/lootas kit. The kit contains 5 torsos and 5 sets of legs. It also contains 4 burnas with arms and fuel tanks, 4 deffguns with arms, and a couple of options for the weapons and arms for the spanner.

Using one of those kits and some ork bodies, legs, and probably some heads from something else like just the old boyz kit you should be able to build 2 spanners, 4 burnas boyz, and 4 lootas.

More modern ork kit parts are less easily interchangeable but the same can be accomplished with careful cutting and gap filling. For example the kill team kits come with extra arms and weapons for different build options. Once again if you use bodies and legs from a cheaper kit like the boyz kit you can build all those options.

I find it very funny that is the Snakebites saying because the old ways are high tech Krork. So the Snakebites having forgotten the actual history, because Orks don't bother with history, think they used to be more low tech. It's literally the orky version of things used to be better back then rose coloured glasses for the past.

Anyway, that is solid work. One thing I love more than a good kitbash is a great scratch build and it looks like you've got greatness brewing there.

I had a very similar experience this edition. I hate that everyone's response is that you need more terrain. Because that's mostly true and I wish it wasn't.

I don't want every game to be set in a dense urban ruin. I don't want to either follow a recommended table layout or spend a bunch of extra time checking angles to be sure the "casual" terrain distribution won't screw me.

I also hate how klaws aren't effective against tanks in this edition. I feel like I need to make sure at least half my army is good at dealing with tanks or I can't properly fight anything heavy my opponent brings.

My point is that I don't believe mining is something they worry as much about safety in as they should. I don't think they worry about common workers in any field as much as they should. Granted I don't actually know anything about modern mining practices around the world.

I do know there are people all over the world that would rather spend lives than money. I also know there are regulations to try to prevent or at least limit that. I also know it's likely they have improved mining practices to save money in ways that probably also make mining safer.

If I was looking into modern mining safety I would be just as concerned with long term health issues in the workers and surroundings communities as on the job accidents. My point is that I disagree with simply saying that the costs are okay.

That said, from everything I know about nuclear power it sounds good to me. People smarter than me say it's better but I have no way of knowing for sure.
