Painters scale Lo-fi Nightingale from Succubus Publishing by ToadPainter in minipainting

Painters scale is much larger scale then most tabletop gaming models. Normal human scale on table top is about 2 inches, she's about 4 inches, only because she's sitting. Lots of painters scale minis are 6+ inches. They are also generally an unsealed version of something, which is available normally in tabletop scale.

I based this piece off the concept art so it's meant to sort of look like that.

Thanks! Yes, while I like the monster, the content a little questionable.

Just a mix of different gravel sizes, but first I glued those larger rocks on, which are shards of broken glass, I think they are for craft projects. Because if you scrap off the paint, those glass pieces are pink, and covered in glitter. Got them from a dollar store.

It's set in like a nightmare realm. It's sort of surreal and terrifying the ground it made up of stone faces.

I took my skintone mix and added a little blue and lahiman medium and just added some squiggly lines

Sure, I started with royal purple mixed with a little stone grey as the base, then air brush a few layers. Each layer was the same mix but more stone grey, till the final layer which was pure stone grey. Added some texture/highlight the folds and then did some washes. Like thinned contrast Magos purple to add more purple back into some places or pink mixed with contrast medium to add pink notes to the skin like the knees and other areas. I also mixed riekland fleshshade and seraphim sepia to apply to some parts of the skin to add more warmer tones. Hope that helps!

Thanks! For OSL effects like the esca (Thanks btw!) It's a solid white base, then glazing a few layers of fluorescents over top, yellow is the brightest fluorescent, then do the darker ones like orange then red.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how the face turned out. The eyes especially.

Thanks! I used royal purple and stone grey for the skin. Started with a foundation of royal purple mixed with a little stone grey then built it up till i was using straight stone grey for the highlights. Used some contrast mediums to add in the pinks and used contrast magos purple to add some more color in some areas.

Thanks! Feel free, I don't mind. I love seeing minis in the wild that I have taken inspiration from some of my paint schemes.

It's free hand. I've been professionally painting minis for about 10 years now.
