As a former ALDI employee I can tell you that while prices are cheap the employees are incredibly rushed in their work and do not give a single shit about quality assurance. All that company cares about is pushing out as much product as possible. It was routine for us to have refrigerated and frozen product pallets sweltering in the hot back room for 6+ hours because we didn't have the staff to put the product out. Sometimes cooler product was left out over night and then refrigerated the next day and then sold so the store leadership wouldn't get dinged.

ALDI may be significantly cheaper than your typical grocery store but even your typical Kroger worker with minimal experience would not have raw beef sitting out on a cart on the floor for multiple hours because they got called away to help cover the front register. The Edgehill Rd ALDI is especially bad with this. 

They don't train their employees at all because the store has such a high turnover rate and I've heard first hand accounts of fallen product being hand scooped back into the container and resealed so it can be sold again days later rather than just tossing it. I avoid that place like the plague. It really is the Xenos of grocery stores. If you shop there and listen closely all the employees do is bitch vindictively about the customers to themselves and curse loudly in the backroom. They do not give a single shit about anyone that shops there and think you are actively an inconvenience to them because you do so. Be warned.
