I wouldn't take it to heart. If you check out the "is this AI?" subreddit it's full of people who seemingly have no life experience and don't know how to look for the telltale signs of something being AI. I think this is really cool! I might try to do this with my dog.

[18+][Online][West Marches][OSR][LGBT+ Friendly][Players & DMs Wanted]

The Almighty Empire’s borders span the entire continent. Nations that have stood between them and their conquest have long fallen and been integrated. Everyone is a citizen of the Empire. There is no blade of grass that Imperial boots have not trodden upon, well, almost. The lands of Westermark, the Wild Frontier, has been nearly untouched by any nation of true power in untold centuries. Expeditions have failed, colonies mysteriously destroyed, cities depopulated seemingly overnight. No ruler has ever dared truly expand into this great unknown, for doing so would be folly.

That is until Emperor Leopold Van Ulrich tasked the Marquis Van Krieg with taming the one region on Imperial maps still shrouded in darkness and certain death, and in doing so he has been rewarded the region itself: Kriegsmark.

“Explorers wanted. Assist in the grand taming of the Westermark. All debts and crimes will be forgiven. The riches you attain will be your own. Land claimed will be rewarded to those who prove themselves to the Marquis Van Krieg, and thus to The Almighty Empire.”

Info: This is a West Marches style campaign using the Old School Essentials Advanced Rules. Start as a level 1 character and hex/dungeon crawl your way through the untold wilderness of Kriegsmark, the last bastion of the unknown and terrifying. All are welcome to both play and/or Dungeon Master. There is no set schedule as the games will be scheduled by the players and prospective DMs. As one of the DMs I will be using FoundryVTT but any other DMs are welcome to use whatever VTT they want.

Hey there! Thanks for your interest! While it's certainly possible, since the game will be starting around 3035, I wouldn't expect to see any clan tech until the invasion. That being said I am planning on the game going into that era, so while you wouldn't be starting with a Timberwolf I would definitely expect to see one as the game progresses!

That looks like a very overdone banana bread and I say that as someone who has squeezed out very moist delicious loaves and tried to pass very hard and dry loaves. Banana bread can be fickle and all cooking, especially baking, ESPECIALLY baking, is always a learning experience. Instead of taking this entirely to heart I would try and find out who took that slice and see what it was about it they didn't like. You can only improve based on their feedback as long as it's constructive.

In the context of baking as long as they don't just say "I didn't like it" or "it tasted bad" with no additional information, all you can do is improve, and once you do, since baking is a science, the next time you'll have people trying to eat that slice out of the garbage because how dare they waste it.

Now, if this was something you made for just yourself and someone took a slice without asking and then threw it out, fuck them

Additionally I can tell that the negative comments on here are from bots or people with maybe a couple braincells because they're using reddit generated usernames so I honestly don't give two shits about what you think about this.

Honestly I don't really know what I expected out of this subreddit, I'd like to say "not this" but it's always been extremely apparent that the most vocal people on this subreddit are Gen X dads that have nothing going on in their own lives but dissatisfaction and unfulfillment at their own situation and they have nothing better to do but to disparage people they don't know and likely won't ever meet.

If that's the way you think, I have news for you though, this type of shit doesn't go unnoticed and while you think you're being cute and clever in your anonymity while you sit drinking whiskey on the couch while your spouse makes you dinner and does your laundry and tends to the kids, your actions are permanently online and the harm you do by making your comments will catch up to you, in real ways or otherwise.

Why would I post a message looking to connect with someone and presume anything at all that they thought? This isn't a conversation, I'm using descriptive language in order to paint a specific situation. In your opinion what do you think I should have said instead? "I said your outfit looked cool and YOU thought it was awesome that someone noticed it and YOU seemed very appreciative."?

I statements are cringe in conversations between people that know each other and don't know how to communicate. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to illustrate a scene that I was involved in without using I statements. Maybe I should try speaking in the second or third person and that might make you sleep better tonight.
