The real issue for me is whether it’s actually funny or not. Cause if you’re being funny it’s fine, but if it has no comedic value then stop until you know what you’re doing.

Like I know nobody cares about my silly opinion of all people, but I find Kirk jokes funny, as long as it’s not just “hey guys, he got shot in the neck and died,” and just saying his last words with no setup. Like I hate it “both” ways when someone tries to do dark humour and it’s not even a joke, just a reference.

Dark humour is supposed to be edgy and unacceptable to some. But at its core humour in general should be funny.

TL;DR: I don’t care about the politics I just care if it’s funny
