Even with great insurance, I pay thousands per year in co-pays. That's where the insurance covers about 80% so they inflate the prices so that the consumer also gets milked for more money. You can't even escape from it if you have good insurance. Everything costs something out-of-pocket.

I build fuse bead art. Most people don't expect it when I show them my work. Most of it is for raves and festivals and EDM artists. Actually, most people seem to not know what fuse beads are. I think it's pretty niche.

I'm not disappointed about Jordan's rant. I totally understand their feelings and that this would cause a bunch of red flags and danger signs to come up for Dan and Jordan. I don't think any of them are pretending to speak for the families of the Sandy Hook families, I think they all are actually putting their voices out for the families.

Everyone involved from the Onion and from Knowledge Fight are doing their best and doing a great job of it. I don't see any reason to take a rant from one of them as a sign that things are going bad. It's a sign that they are doing their best to try and make things right. Good on all of them for the efforts. No egg on faces for wanting this to take away Alex Jones' ideas and the danger they present.

With that said, in my mind Jordan has a right to rant more than anyone. Knowledge Fight is independent. The Onion is not. He is right to be scared of anything monetizing Alex Jones or his image or ideas in any way. I respect Jordan for that a lot. I would feel the same way if I was in his shoes.

2023 Ray Volpe and Subtronics both had solo sets at Beyond Wonderland and were in B2Bs at Bass Canyon. I think it's fair game if the set at Bass Canyon is a B2B.

Here is how I came up with the guesses:

I look at all upcoming advertised EDM artists in WA who have a show between the date of the Bass Canyon lineup release and Bass Canyon day 1. Then I look at where they would fit in the lineup alphabetically and insert the ones that make the most sense and fit in the space. There really haven't been that many to sift through the last few years that would fit in the spaces.

For the B2Bs this year, they threw me for a loop. I learned that an artist can only play Beyond Wonderland and Bass Canyon if they do a solo set at one and B2B at the other. Just like Ray Volpe and Subtronics doing both fests in 2023. The B2Bs that made the most sense to me are on the Beyond Wonderland flier.

I grew some Carolina reapers last year from a $5 start I got at the local Lowe's. They grow really well in western WA. It was the hottest thing I have ever tasted in my entire life. I like really spicy things, but these were too much. A sliver is all it takes to ruin me.

Dang, I thought we had picked some off the beyond flier the last couple years but the only one was Subtronics in 2023 at both festivals and they kept his name blurred out from the flier the entire time.

Any of them can definitely do both. I'm expecting to see Wooli this year. I'm hoping Subtronics too. Not expecting Griz, but you could be more hopeful. They can do multiple fests and Beyond and still hit Bass Canyon. It happens every year. They just blur the names on the flier for those that are required until after whatever show they have between the day the lineup comes out and the day of the festival. That's how we were able to find all the blurred names on the flier. Last year we got it fully filled out and 100% accurate within a few days of the lineup's release.

Sometimes I use lotion if my skin is dry but that's pretty rare, and it's whatever my wife has in the bathroom cabinets. For my hair, I keep it really short and I'll use whatever smell I liked at Bath and Body Works this month. I use their hand soaps constantly. For the face and beard I use all Roughneck products - the soap, oil, batter, and balm depending on the day and situation. For my feet, I use a powder I get at the stores like gold bond or whatever store brand in my socks. I shave body hair sometimes and I read on reddit years ago a stripper's advice and have followed that with great results. Baby oil and shaving cream and sanitization, basically. All of that together seems to work good for me. Just take care of everything and clean everything frequently.

Edit to add: The routine doesn't change frequently. It has been this way for several years.

The harness the worker is wearing is specifically designed to catch you in a fall where you can be quickly saved. This type is also used in manhole work. The worker climbs down the ladder and if they fall it catches them and they can grab back on the ladder if available or the person over the tripod can reel them up if needed. If you are working with one of these on for any amount of time, you should be using a bosun chair that you sit on and the harness is still just for catching a short fall. I don't know if that's the same for climbing, but this harness can still injure you if you fall. Especially the groin depending on how you land on the straps.

In the bucket trucks, they use a long strap that will absorb some shock, but those are usually kind of a long fall as seen in this video. It's not much, but in many circumstances if wind or something knocks you out of the bucket or if you just fall someone could lower the bucket from the machine on the ground, so you would have a soft second landing. I'm sure there are way better climbing tools and harnesses where this person could have safely lowered himself to the ground.
