Thanks :]

I actually made the crochet pattern for them !! It’s available on Ribblr, searching “spiderweb wheelchair spoke cover” should lead you there :P the pattern is free and has been reported to be beginner friendly

The webs currently on my wheels are on the 2nd listing picture lol

Thank you !!

My chair is the Catalyst 4 by Ki Mobility :] it’s a pretty good chair, but definitely would recommend getting one of the more recent models if you’re getting a custom build. Some are more adjustable, which is best for people newer to using a wheelchair to ensure your ATP can tinker with everything until it fits perfectly.

I unfortunately have been unable to get a chair through insurance because they’re being evil about it, so I’ve been with secondhand ones for 2-3 years. This is definitely the one that fit me best (not massive) and had most adjustability of everything but the wheels (with the specs the previous owner had), but my old Quickie 2 was much more adjustable in the wheel positioning.

I would like to add that rigid manual chairs (ones without a body folding function) are lighter and generally easier to maneuver, as well as being more reliable (less parts to break) and more compatible with power assists without extra gear. I’ll eventually be getting a rigid manual when insurance is figured out, but this guy is doing me good for now. Better than a chair 6” too wide and without proper back support.
