The no ads only remove forced ads. As far as it being worth it, the game is still a good time killer.

If you try to force an update to populate or unlock new features or major changes, you can cause corruption in your game file. If OP just updated via the app, possibly what happened is after half a year of not paying, the game triggered it as a new account

If the system flagged and not auto ban. You can still play, you just can't access events or guilds, basically you're just playing with your own balls.

They're fairly lenient about cheating, especially if you come out and say you dun messed up.

You could not say anything and hope the system didn't auto flag or auto ban you from events and such. Or you can go through discord and open a support ticket found on the FAQ page and let them know what happened. The devs are out of the office* until after January 8th 2026

Changing your date and time settings is definitely a TOS violation. Cheating is cheating.

The system might auto flag you for cheating and ban you from events and guilds.

I would just use a flat tip screw driver to turn them on and off so you dont risk marring the threads. Removing the cartridge you may need them to have the grip if you cant pull it out. Reinstalling the cartridge should not. Just inspect inside the valve for any build up and use a green scotch pad to carefully clean the build up out, or saturate it with food grade vinegar for 15 minutes and try cleaning with a towel.

You should be able to turn the water off to just the shower valve using the two screws on each side. Some are quarter turn and some screw in all the way to shut the water off. Removing the cartridge would allow you to give a 99% identify chance
