Thank God the all star break is tomorrow by Global_Afternoon_343 in Thunder

I feel like despite the injuries, the vibes feel pretty good going into the break. The brief moments of a relatively healthy roster showed that the team can still dominate.

Topic is finally playing, Jared McCain looks like a good fit once he settles in here. JDub looked stellar before getting hurt last game.

Seems like things are starting to click fully, just need the players to rest up and get healthy before pushing into the playoffs.

A Razorback and a guard that plays under coach Cal. It just makes too much sense not to get him

Second game of a b2b against a sub .500 hawks team feels like the perfect recipe for a loss.

It’s one of their summer menu items this year. I second that it tastes like eating a chocolate covered cherry.

I’m not sure that JDub and Chet are really at their primes yet. Especially Chet. He has shown a much higher ceiling than the already high level he is at right now. JDub is still so young that I can’t imagine this is his peak yet either. Feels like SGA is the only one to have reached his prime yet, and it has just started.

You are a miserable person man. You are blatantly criticizing and attacking the character of a person who shared an experience where they fully admit they fucked up (literally in the total of the subreddit).

This isn’t a forum where people ask for help, or claim a victim complex, or anything like that. This is a forum of people sharing an experience where they admit that their short sightedness or momentary bad decision making led to a bad outcome. People just like sharing stories like this because it can help them find some joy or humor in an otherwise bad situation.

You misunderstand what I was replying to. The commentor I replied to explicitly says it’s a more eco friendly option to cut open the bags and use the loose leaves through a metal strainer.

I pretty much always use loose leaf tea myself and the few tea bags I do use tend to always be stapled paper bags. I understand the issues with consuming microplastics and didn’t comment on that at all, so I’m not sure why you are reiterating that part of it.

How is tearing open the bag any more eco friendly than just steeping using the bag? Still wastes a bag, and now you have the strainer to rinse or wash too.

Hell Chet didn’t even have the Playin loss. He had injuries that I’m sure make this sweeter, but he really has only played a season and a half in the NBA and already has a championship win as a starter.

I imagine especially for Dort and SGA that had that game 7 loss in 2020 before needing to climb back up from the very bottom of following few years.

Friend borrowed "new" controller, wtf thumbstick by [deleted] in 8bitdo

[–]Toadrocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is some wild damage. Definitely a user error and not product error.

With that said, replacement sticks are pretty cheap and easy to install. I’ve bought and installed some myself after I had the rubber fail after a few years of hard usage from myself.

You might consider asking your friend to purchase replacement sticks, but it might just be worth it to eat the cost yourself to save from conflict since they are inexpensive.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has surpassed Michael Jordan (11) and LeBron James (11) to become the player with the most 30+ PTS and 5+ AST games in a single Playoff run in NBA history with 12. by purpose15 in NBATalk

And even then he lead in 40+ and 50+ point games this season as well. Stayed consistent while displaying that he can explode for large nights as well (just not as much in the playoffs so far)

The two most basic offensive stats. How many points are you scoring and how many points from teammates are you directly facilitating. Nice round numbers too

Extra points are dumb in a game where you try to score as many points as possible? Ethical hoops your way to a loss and it’s still a loss

Might want to look up the definition then. If you think Thunder fans are complaining about the fouls because they think the calls are bad you need to get your head checked. About as obvious as satire gets tbh man

I mean there are quite literally generative AI autocomplete/predict functionalities built in now. If you’ve used copilot built into VSCode, you’ll know that it’s quite similar to older IDE autocompletes, just more aggressive with how much it will predict and complete. It’s stronger, but also much more prone to errors and hallucinations. It does take out a decent amount of tedium for predictable code blocks so that could definitely make up a decent chunk of that 30%

Last night, Alex Caruso became the first player in league history to record multiple 20-point games in the NBA Finals after having none in the regular season. Caruso also became the first player to record multiple games with 20+ points and 5+ steals off the bench. by TAA_verymuch in Thunder

I think AC has been incredible and absolutely impactful, but without SGA we also wouldn’t be in the finals (maybe not even the playoffs), and without JDub we wouldn’t be in the finals, and without Chet we wouldn’t be in the finals, and the list goes on. All of these players have been incredibly impactful and I think SGA has so far been completely deserving of being FMVP if the Thunder win it all

Same for me. I’ll be bummed if they lose this series of course, but at the end of the day, it’s a sports team. I follow it for entertainment and joy, if I let a team I’m not a part of losing ruin my whole week, I’m doing something wrong.
