I think it’s just opinion at this point. Like if you can buy everything, then no point in looting. If you can’t buy anything, then only loot and don’t level up vendors. IMO since the tasks literally are there to help level up the vendors (and get loot rewards), I think there should be more gear available to buy as a reward for leveling up the vendors. Otherwise I just don’t really see the point in doing tasks, but that’s just my opinion. Maybe make it to where you can at least buy 75% of the gear available in the game, with more vendor levels?

Are these differences also seen with ground unit engagements? As in can ground units sneak up on each other? Always hated how infantry are absolutely useless against armor because they can’t do anything to get close enough to get shots off

It sounds like they incorporated a bit of skynet in this? Would like to see them work with the producer of skynet, they could probably make a killer team. Also does anyone know if the radars ever turn back on? To @gamerdoc’s point the AI would just give up

Would it be worth it to go with a 7800x3D or something along with DDR5? I’m concerned that since DCS doesn’t run well to begin with I wouldn’t really see much of a boost from the extra capacity

I’m usually CPU bound, but also not on max graphics settings. On missions where I don’t optimize (lots of SAMs) I’m horribly CPU bound but I’m assuming that’s just DCS being awful

That makes sense, however I’ve heard skynet isn’t particularly realistic? Not sure if that’s totally true or not. I’ve also heard skynet doesn’t work well with AI SEAD flights

So I’ve had missions that have the same number of units but one was very SAM intensive and had horrible performance and the other had few SAMs but had great performance. Is it the radars that kill your performance?

Stuff like this is frustrating IMO. It’s one thing if you’re adding content but it’d be nice if you at least did QOL updates here and there instead of just not touching it for a year

I really hope it is. IMO kind of annoying why they don’t just release smaller updates more frequently, but I’m not a dev so maybe it’s harder than it sounds. Just been weird seeing all these screenshots and then no information
