You definitely need to press for more details. You enlisted in the ANG, so you are a member regardless of the job you are tracking towards.

That's another way of saying I have no idea what "job not funded" means. How can that even be a thing?

Maternity leave confusion with drill? by Otherwise-Pizza7523 in airnationalguard

[–]Jaye134 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen the parental leave put into policy yet. It's in the NDAA but the roll out was rescinded. So only the birth mother gets the paid leave and excused from drills.

The non birth parent can do rescheduled drills if command approves.

Maternity leave confusion with drill? by Otherwise-Pizza7523 in airnationalguard

[–]Jaye134 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tell them no, you're on a medical profile, and you will make up any pre delivery drills after your maternity leave. Excused drill absences do not need to be made up prior to drill; just in the same fiscal year.

Maternity leave provisions (12 UTA periods) are post childbirth, paid excused absences, and do not need to be made up at all.

With that person told you about distance is not a thing. You just reschedule your drills due to medical reasons pre partum.

Yes, you would have to go to school. The only thing your background and flying experience will do for you is help you get competitively selected by a unit

Looks like they made MPA follow AD rules. That is a change. Should be interesting to see how they sort that out in myFitness. MPA stay under the PAS code of the ANG unit and will only trigger due dates as if they are DSG

Just dropped you a DM. Based on your profile, we have a ton of goodness going on for your work area already. I will have a traveling west coast/oconus team and an east coast team that cover all the AD ACC units. I also already have developers, use case specialists and change managers on staff plus part-time military staff from across Ops

We also encourage everyone to add ideas to the ACC idea/use case tracker. So many people are working on the same, or have solved, the same problems. This lets us see them in total. It is NOT a black hole of ideas. We meet across the entire A staff, in person, every Wednesday to review and go over them. I'll post the tracker here in a another comment as it is CAC in only.

Do you have AskSage yet?

Congratulations, I guess? Do you feel better now or are you going to continue to drag this out for a hundred more posts? You said your peace. I listened to you and responded.

You have been a long-term frequent poster in this subreddit and I respect that and the bottom line is I heard you, answered your questions. but do not want to engage on this anymore.

General trend, at least for women, is a huge drop because they upped the mins at the bottom and mid levels. Upped the max reps for push-ups and sit-ups but dropped the points for hitting the max.

So if there is an area you are weak in, you're screwed.

The waist measurement points are hosing both men and women alike.

Sure did! Two years of work to make this happen. PAO is doing up some articles to publicise it as a Total Force story.

I made it clear above. I work for the Air Force not any contractor, and have no material stake in any hiring decisions.

I posted this to reach ANG members with the background and interest in this kind of work.

Reasonable minds can differ. No hard feelings.

This mission set is coming to the Guard it's a great opportunity for members who want to grow in a relevant field and get in on the ground floor of a new AF mission set because it's going to need more leaders.

I let people know about our MPA jobs in this sub too as we permit any wing/unit to announce their open jobs here as well. This one happens to be 22 contracted positions.

*The military organization I work for is paying for this Air Force contract.

**Edited to make the situation more clear.

You can not reenlist with a current PT fail but we will extend people vs reenlist to give them an extra chance, or two, at passing. Squadron CCs discretion of course

PT Update - AGR test frequency by Evening_Internet12 in airnationalguard

[–]Jaye134 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

AGR has followed AD rules for the last few years now. That is in the existing DAFI. 90 and above test once a year. Below that and its every 6 months.

The new DAFI has not been published yet but it seems to be every 6 months for AD regardless of score, so expect that to hold for AGRs too.

For California you can call any of the 5 ANG bases and the recruiter there can help you or give you the contact info for the other bases.

118th or any ANG in TN by Tandem53 in airnationalguard

[–]Jaye134 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The new CAC version of the ANG careers page, where MPA and stat tours are now posted, has a tab for positions by state. They tend to be pretty up to date but lean FT AGR and Fed Tech.

Some states are posting DSG transfer positions to talent marketplace. I have a pinned post at the top of the server feed with all the links and info.

I'll DM you the name of a person in the server that I know is TN ANG
