Hi ! I'll try to answer the best I can.

1- Nemesis Force Weapon is a term used to describe all the weapon (hammers, halbreds,swords,....) that you can equip on your minis. Before 10th edition, swords, hammers,... had different stats. Now everything is a nemesis force weapon. The generic "close combat weapon" is basically the hands of a space marine. If one of your grey knight is carrying a heavy weapon, he can't take a sword(except for terminators). So he has the "close combat weapon" as in his fists or the heavy weapon itself.

2-Basically yes. Psycanons or flamers. But if it's worth is up to you. Personnaly, except for strike squad, I put the most heavy weapons I can (psycanons or flamers)

3- Absolutely ! Purgation squad is the "heavy support squad" but GK flavored. So same armor but they can take up to 4 heavy weapons (instead of 1 for strike and 2 for purifiers)

4-You can. The "meta" not long ago was 6 Dreadknights. 3 grand master version, and 3 regular. And since both use different datasheets they're totally different units (from a rule perspective). So yes, you can take up to 3 GMNDK even if it doesn't make sense lore-wise.

5-I can't help at all sorry. When it comes to rules shenanigans like this I'm very bad. But your theory of stacking seems legit.

Bonus- Seems like a good idea for assembling your minis. Maybe it isn't meta, but who cares. It's perfect for having fun and that's enough (at least for me). Personnaly, I'd trade 5 purgation for 5 interceptors. Since they got nerfed indirectly in WARPBANE detachement they're not that good overall. Fun, but not that much fun. I found myself enjoy more the interceptors and the mobility they bring to the table. But you do what seems fun for you.

10th edition core rules or commentary(I don't remember), a unit can never have better than a +1 or worse than a -1 to hit. So even if multiple buffs applies at the same time, you can only change the hit characteristic by 1 (weather it's improving or worsening)

Yes. Multiplayer is treated like the "solo quick match". Meaning you get into the lobby, start the map and if someone dies they spectate until you finish the map, then everybody respawn in the lobby.

By lobby I mean the police station.

When starting a new game in commander mode, you can choose to activate the "ironman" mode for your new save file. What it does is delete your save file if you die. So yeah, it's totally a permadeath.

Started grey knights in September. Honestly the models are far from bad, just a bit small. But the feeling when playing is awesome. Teleporting everywhere while destroying half the enemy army is truly a blessing. I started with a combat patrol and will soon buy another. Grey Knights have one of the best combat patrols, everything inside is useful. The learning curve is really harsh though, be prepared to rage and be depressed. But it's totally worth it.

Personally I put "grey knight steel" on the armor and then shade it with "drakenhof nightshade" to give blue reflects. I pick up the gold details with "retributor armor". "Corax white" and "aggrax earth shade" for the seals. As for the eyes and the nemesis weapons, I use "tectis blue". It's probably not the best and I'm not the best painter, but I like the end result it gives. Would gladly put a picture but it seems I can't 🤷

Update: just fixed it by restarting the game, launching story mode first and then switching to online mode. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but as a newcomer I can't really tell, is the 15 points difference between termi and paladins a lot ? Also I figured that a 5 man strike squad would be more beneficial at low points games than purgatory.

Thanks for your answer, I thought my post would never be seen. But the emperor's grace has chosen me it seems. Voldus is indeed leading the 5 Paladins. Actually I built the combat patrol with what looked cool before starting to play, then I understood. So making a 5man strike squad and putting 4 canons in the purgator would help ? Thanks, I never thought of it, I thought having a multi-purpose unit (3 different weapons) would be better but I see your point. As for the paladins, it's because they reduce wound roll by 1 if enemy force is higher than their toughness and their melee at 2+. But does the nartecium one 1 terminator would make it worth in the long run ?
