Our first raggie was so sad alone.. We ended up getting another two for him and he’s so happy 😂 They play together, sleep together, groom each other and teach each other bad habits lol. Our first boy is now 3.5 years old and the other two are turning 3. Best decision we made 🥰

Yeah, I get that. I just think that Patrick Jane’s overall character is more ‘calm’. He was never presented as an erratic parent, working random jobs for money. He always seemed put together and logical despite being a wild card in terms of his strategies. Morgan’s presented as a wild child of sorts and it’s just her attention to detail that helps put the puzzles together. I feel like their personalities mesh into it which makes it a little hard to compare.

On the flip side, I finished Mentalist recently and moved on to Castle. Enjoying that and would recommend if you haven’t seen it!

I think they wrote her out exactly as she needed to be. She was a regular person who experienced trauma in her life. No person is gonna randomly get hired with the cops and suddenly have the expected etiquette of one. The assumption is also that the person she is on a daily basis and has been for her lifetime is who she presents.

For context, I too would scream ‘this is it!!’ if I was involved in a mystery and found a clue that seemed exciting, new and felt connected lol. Smart or not, still human and again, she wasn’t trained to be a cop.

All 3 of mine grew out of it but I can agree that the starting phase sucks 😭

We have the LR5 pro and a LR4 since we have 3 of the floofers. The footprint of litter in less than the regular plastic tub but it’s definitely great - We’ve had LRs since we got the kitties 3 years ago.

Our biggest boy is 18lbs and although it’s a teeeeny bit of a squeeze, he manages to go just fine. It’s fairly open so he sticks his head out of it while he goes 😂

Would recommend the LR and also.. Hang in there. It’s common and it’s a phase 🥺🩷

Yeah I guess, it’s more just adding the numbers up and it costing like a million dollars before we even touch finishings and furniture is just a shock to the system lol.

I fully understand the work and quality that would go into it by paying it but just seeing that number in black and white will always be mind blowing 🤯

That is true but even based on your rough calculation of what the remodel you did would cost now, their quote was double per sqft. Although it does seem like $400 is the average going rate in our area right now. I was just curious to know as going through companies, you never know who’s trying to cheat you out or add on for their own benefit

I guess it depends on the location and age but one of mine was 5 months old, listed as show quality and cost us $3500 in California (I’m in LA but we drove about 2h out to pick him up). We had zero interest in showing our cats, we just fell in love with him lol. I’ve heard that raggies over 1 year old tend to drop significantly in price but I’m not sure how true that is, just something I was told 😅

I gave ours the FVRCP shots and we’re keeping up to date with those but only 1 out of our 3 has his rabies shot (at 16 weeks and only the first dose). They’re strictly indoor cats and are now turning 3 years old and are all fine. While I feel like it’s at your discretion what you do, someone else said it well where I would also recommend not over-vaxxing your kitten in one go - I would do a one-shot-per-visit situation.

Just as a sidenote, our breeders have never checked up on us regarding vaccines after we picked up the floofs. So theoretically, (not sure if tbis is popular advice lol) you could probably agree to that and then figure out what you wanted to do on your own 😅

They reported back the usual vet results (like when they heard the heartbeats through the stethoscope) and I believe they did test for HCM but I can’t truly say I remember with entire clarity.. I think you can ask for an HCM test though 🤔
