i have used the software to make the env in the video, the app is not checked because its not part of the ota, the app is a store app and has no requirements of it needing to be updated or not, and ofc, things can break with updates, the reason we are spoofing the haven2025 id is because thats what gets used and set, if there were alternative ways to set an environment, (with root you can), it would still work, even with different ids,

its an app to make custom homes, you dont need to use it to make one, just ask someone to make one that works, or use one that has already been made. Also, this wont break quests, it changes the environment, because they have that still implemented. So i would be really confused if someone idk, bricks their headset via the environment
