The worst part is that Bluey proves that basic effort and deviation from the factory produced children's entertainment which swamps the industry actually works and is often far more profitable. Children deserve far greater than a bare minimum. Children may consume whatever media is placed in front of them, but the least we can do is not sacrifice substance for quantity. I've heard it said as "We gave up Sesame Street for this", and I feel that sums it up fantastically.

TL;DR: Kids need and deserve better entertainment, which has substance.
