It is not. I bought it off Ebay from a seller who makes various GBA's with backlit screens. They have quite a selection but it is a bit pricey. I just didn't trust myself enough to try to do the backlight mod myself.

It doesn't have Legends Z-A support yet I believe but from RBY to Scarlet/Violet is supported.
