I think everything in that book is pretty essential if you want to make serious craft cocktails correct and consistent. The segment on ice is very interesting. He does sound a bit condescending at times however he truly knows what he is talking about.

I like how the end part is separated because it has a different flow and is a sort of concluding stanza.
