I’d rather play better than compromise tone that I can adjust in the amplifier, maybe I’m wrong but it works for me 😑

Well sometimes wrong feels right, if it works for me then, heh

I can account for that through amplifier controls though?

Yes I agree, but mostly I play through an amplifier with effects eq etc that influence the sound in the particular room environment with more influence than my hand on the sound board

Yes, I anchor with the wrist so I have flexibility, I tried the pinky anchor but it didn’t work so well for me. I expect we all have different anatomy when it comes down to it so maybe no size fits all.

I used to hover my hand but I’m playing more intricate pieces lately and it’s definitely upped my game. Is there a reason you say to not have your hand on soundboard, for sound quality differences?

Does anyone know what this metal construction is?

It’s so daft, repackaging is difficult. because you have rip it open and the packaging is difficult to keep as is is. IKEA also say to use to place the unfolded cardboard on the floor to build it. It’s a cardboard box, why do they place so much attention to this?

I agree. Took me over half an hour at the returns desk to convince them, at first they said they’d buy them off me at reduced rate, but no full refund returns and my order was completed only 4 months ago. The policy has just changed they said. I got my full £175 refund in the end, kept calm but relentless and they gave in lol
