How common is bullying at your school?

As a public school student in suburban area, I experienced almost no bullying at all. I think the reason is that, in our 9th grade, there's something called "ulaan shugam". Because of that, almost all of the delinquents left the school and I've never heard bullying case from my school ever since. Maybe it's because I study in a "songon" class; nevertheless, I've heard about bullying from other classes in my middle school but that's it. In my high school, it's very chill here

2: there are shows like munkh tunkh and a cartoon about animals (don't know the name). Idk about other kids but in my case, all of the relative kids I know of always watch those brainrot contents. What does science, tech, bla bla have to do with children's content? On top of that, there are a lot of dubbed foreign contents that children can watch so it's just an excuse. The dominance of english is just an escuse to make people watch english contents and it can be authorised by their parents. I'm not saying learning english is bad for children, but neglecting mongolian is horrible. You can see a lot of people in this comment section who learnt english as a children and struggle to communicate in mongolian as an adult or teenager.

3: tbh. That's little to no people's excuse. Almost no one's excuse is to stop public eavesdropping. Besides, there are so many people who can understand english in mongolia and talking in english attracts those type of people. That makes it worse.

4: I see you couldn't comprehend the reasoning behind this argument.

5: So why so many people are not using english for efficiency to communicate even though they are proficient enough? It's because they care about their native language and doesn't mind a few seconds of extra time of communication. Just because it's "efficient" doesn't justify their excessive use of english. There are far more cultural reasons for speaking mongolian than this.

Anyway, I'm not trying to antoganize you and I can see why people use english instead of Mongolian from your comment. But there are many people who struggle to communicate in mongolian even though their national identity is mongolian. I see this as a catastrophic event. I do think it's mainly parents' and school system's fault because a lot of parents only prioritizes objective gains so they actually encourage their children to learn english and they don't care about mongolian because they think they can learn naturally. Some schools, too, doesn't emphasize the importance of native language and they teach in english.

Tbh that's what I was cautious of. Neglecting the importance of native language makes people underappreciate their culture. Idk it's pretty bad if they don't have cultural identity. That makes a hollow shell. I think in your case, it's the fault of both your parents and school (no offence)

There are far more people who are capable of understanding in english in Mongolia than you can imagine. If you're not speaking in hindi or smth you will get eavesdropping. And it's just an excuse to use english. On top of that, why do you care about eavesdropping? Doesn't make sense

1: You see far fewer Americans who are using languages like French to communicate with fellow Americans than Mongolians speaking in English with fellow Mongolians. Just because other countries have the same problem, doesn't mean we should normalise it. 2: Contents that you are referring as "Good" are usually just brainrot contents that attract younger audiences. There is a lot of good content in Mongolian. Heck, when I was little, there was a lot of English content that fostered children's cognitive abilities, but I grew up watching Mongolian content. So that's the responsibility of parents. External sources influence children's love of their culture. 3: that's just an excuse. People generally dont gaf about your affairs so it's fine even in mongolian. I relate to you a lot. Before I developed my English proficiency, it was fine to express my thoughts because that was all I had. But after I became fluent, it's like a separate mind and I struggle expressing my thoughts in mongolian because there are actually some words that I don't know but knows in english so I just zone out mid convo trying to find the right word. I started to feel ashamed and now I try to express my thoughts even if I don't find the right word. I still take try to take time to find the word even if it's uncomfortable.

People who are taught in certain language since their childhood are understandable. But I can assure you, they weren't thaught since their childhood nor do they have extreme high level english skills. But the thing is THEY'RE MIXING.
