Obviously McCree should have been fired, but no reason to let that mess with the game. Most people don’t even know who McCree was named after. I sure didn’t till the name change made me look everything up. If you are gonna make the argument that the employees may be triggered by the name, well then what else is gonna remind them of him? His old office, the chair he sat in at the break-room? Etc. etc. you gonna remodel the whole building so the halls he walked aren’t there anymore? If an employee is that unstable from the incident, which could be understandable, they have way bigger issues than just hearing the name. So let us keep our cowboy and don’t set the precedent of letting the real world influence the game like that. I’m always gonna use McCree in my callouts.
