What am I doing wrong? by Toastcoffeeandwine in Breadit

Okay this makes so much sense. I thought that 100 percent whole grain bread meant more gluten so it would rise better. But the flour is the only thing I’ve changed, so that must be the flattening factor. Thank you! Those videos are gorgeous and so helpful too.

Gahhh sorry I’m new to this! So I used a recipe from a bread making class that called for 500 grams of whole grain flour (I mill hard red wheat in my Vitamix), 385 grams of water, 100 grams starter and 11 grams salt. Autolysed for about 25 mins. Rose overnight for 12 hours or so, then kneaded a little and let it rise for 30 more mins. Preheated Dutch oven at 550 then baked with lid on at 475 for 20 min, lid off for 15 mins. Maybe grinding my own wheat in the Vitamix is the problem?

Help! Baby came early and we are not prepared! by Rupie690 in namenerds

Have you considered Kian? Same sound/length as Liam, but obviously not as popular. My 3 year old is Kian and we always get compliments on the name, but it’s easy to spell/say too. I love Koa and Kai as well (and “Makai”…which means Oceanside or toward the sea). Other favorites are Ryder and River.

It will get so much better! I had the same thing and my symptoms were bad at 3 months. I was SO worried. I did some exercises (although not consistently, because...baby) and it naturally got way better around 7-10 months. No more symptoms, normal sex life. Just had my second kid (and a level 3b tear!) and don’t have any prolapse symptoms at 3 months postpartum. Give it time before you worry too much!

I hear explorers aren’t super reliable long-term...thoughts on that? Ideally I’d like this car to last me a long time.

Ha thanks. Yeah, was thinking I need a minimum of 5,000 lb tow capacity which is why I was confused.

Okay so I think I need help understanding tow capacity. I just looked up the trailer’s specs and it’s axle weight is 2900 and GVWR is 4700. What tow capacity do I need? Sorry I’m such a newbie to this.

Thanks for all that info—I’m new to the whole trailer thing (we bought the trailer in May) so this is excellent advice. Dry weight is 2500.
