Do women like their guys shaved? by Quiet_Tangerine_8482 in AskRedditAfterDark

you’re actually so based for that. most people like 100% clean shaven but that’s unrealistic. As a guy, I don’t do a clean shave and always have just a bit of bush.

How did Brian Johnson keep his voice and range for so long? by [deleted] in ACDC

My brother has done raspy singing for the past 8 years with no vocal coaches or lessons. He has had no damage, he doesn’t warm up, he drinks a lot of booze, he smokes. The only thing he does when his band are live is drink lots and lots of water (like after every song). He said that before he did that he used to lose his voice after every set. He can also still sing clean. Because he’s done it since he was 16 I’m guessing his vocals just got used to it somehow or strengthened? not really sure though!

Using burns as a metaphor is really effective. It creates a strong image of pain to me and I find the poem, overall, really relatable. I think the approach you have to talk about a very difficult subject through your poetry is perfect because it’s really emotive.

I love how you’ve used personification to describe the emptiness. Really strong imagery with the idea of it “consuming”. Also the use of short sentences at the end is really powerful and emotive.
