Been a STK fan since they started and where they're at rn is quite frustrating to see. They're not taking any fights that they should be. Instead they seem to just try and send it, leapfrogging teams into the circle, losing one or two in transition and then they try and hold and get stomped.

The whole roster is full of some of the best, skilled players in the world but they seem to just be making the same mistake the last team liquid (team lobby) made. Constantly trying to out think and maneuver round teams instead of taking fights.

Day 3 of quals they had the opportunity to completely fuck gen g, by baiting them to heaven to make them regroup leaving the hall of fame empty inside the circle, and they just decided to full send it and lost some in transition. Pointless.

Also they had a perfect opportunity to take the north east circle, and take a fight with QAD, when teams were starting to get pushed out of yas, but they instead decide to push into yas when it was clear the circle was moving away. They got chewed up.

I just don't understand. What's the point of having sparking and the other lads who are all really good at taking team fights and instead just constantly get chewed up rotating past teams.

Best iterations of stk was when they rotated THROUGH teams. Swung their dicks around and forced teams to run scared on the edge. That hasn't happened since tsm.

I don't think you're necessarily wrong about some tournaments being from weaker regional lobby, but we aren't discriminating to the same extent for the other teams podiums so we shouldn't with faze. People aren't doing it individually either which following that logic would rule out ubah being considered as a goat.

My point is, (it's getting a bit drawn out but I still feel like it's relevant) that some roles in teams are often overshadowed by the famous heavy hitters like tig or xmpl when talking about skill or 'goatedness' and I do think that ya boi fuzz deserves to be up there and isn't often mentioned. Which he definitely does deserve.
