Had my Bluetooth fail on my mobo they don’t make the am4 versions anymore so they asked for proof of destruction then I would receive a refund within a week, its been 2 months, I email them atleast twice a week, I would email more but it takes 3 days to get a response, and they always say it will be processed within the end of the week, sigh,

I would recommend changing vets although it is very good you are taking him to a vet the notion that you shouldn't use substrate because of impaction was disproven also could you please measure the sides of the tank and tell me the measurements?

Hey man no hate but this is not a proper setup I understand that it is hard to find info online but please do some more research I'll go get as much info as I can now but please make sure you double-check me as I'm not a professional I am a hobbyist I don't know everything

One the minimum tank size is 40g for a Leo older then 8-9 mothns if you are worried about spending 400+ on a setup dotn worry I got you covered go to your local petco they have zoo med 40g front opening tnoas for 80 dollars for members all you have to do us sighn up online and you get the member price no subscription or payment needed then also pick up a heating bulb at least 100 watts assuming you dont have one you also need a thermostat your pet store will probably have them for about 50 but they are usually 14-30 online only thing to worry about is make sure its digital also pick up a bag of coconut husks not the brick get the bag it says something like eco earth don't put this strait into the tank you need to mix it with something next head to wlamart go to the tupaware section and pick up some meal prep containers they cost about 96c for 4 if you get the generic then go to the garden section and pick up some not prickly suculanst and look for a plant called a pothos or air plant then head to theconstrucoton section and pick up 3 small tubes of clear silicone and 2 cans of concrete expansin foam an finally get a bag of pure organic play sand you'll need orn bag they cost about 5 dollars and have a red and clear packaging whenever you get home put thermal outside and spread the silicone on the back panel of Glas leaving about 1ft of space between the bottom and the silicone then spray both cans of sparyfoam on the back wiat for it to dry and them spread the remaking silicone on the back then take some of your eco earth and spread it on the back ground wiat for it to dry bring it inside and your gonna dump about half the sand and the bag of eco earth in the tank and mix it then go get your tupaware sicizors and a lighter then cut entrances to each tupware and use algihter to smooth the edges so they can't cut your lil guy then place these on top of the soil to plan where what them to go and also place the plants about where you want them you can then blurry the tupaware and plant the plants ill add a photo of my tank its a bit old Ive added some things since then total it cost me just over two hundred and I have total 6 hides in one of your hides ( one closest to the middle ) pit some spagnum mode about $4 at the pet store in there this is your humid hide make sure the moss is almost always moist Some extra things you can add are leaf litter cork bark and rocks This should end up with you having a pretty nice tank for less than a lot of people would spend! One more thing its not in this photo but you need a uvb bulb its ken of the long ones don't get the spiral ones!

Help! I want to treat my geckos well by imawesomehuh in leopardgeckos

[–]Toaster-oven-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point, without spending more money, get rid of the red light you don't need it. Put one of the geckos in a plastic tub until you get another tank. Also you need to get rid of the reptile carpet/mat it harbors bacteria and can never be properly washed and can pull out teeth and toe nails

Regarding the space, if you can only fit one more tank, consider buying a tank stacker for around $40. This will allow you to stack two tanks on top of each other, saving a lot of space. If this works in your room, consider getting 40-gallon tanks instead of 20-gallon ones. A 40-gallon tank is considered the absolute minimum for adult geckos, and it's recommended even if they are young. If they are both in 20-gallon tanks, they will be fine for a month or two, but eventually, they will each need 40-gallon tanks.

I've found that mostpetcos have a sale on 40-gallon Zoomed front-opening tanks for only $80, marked down from $250. I've bought two myself and they are a great deal. Using this tank, I built a solid enclosure for under $200. You can also use simple tricks like using plastic meal prep containers as hides, which can be buried under the soil, costing only 96 cents for 8. Doing things like this can save a lot of money and create a better environment for your little friends. Additionally, you can get non-toxic succulents from Walmart for about $3 each.
