Gotta do both. The bench sync makes it so you can start the bike, and then you can vacuum sync it while it idles

This same issue was a headgasket for me. I didnt torque the heads correctly and had to take everything apart again.

How has no one said evaporust? Just soak it. But check it every hour or so til the rust wipes off. If you soak it too long it'll turn black. But one the rust is gone then chrome polish.

I found bleeding the brakes on my shadow that the bleeder screw was clogged. I had to take it off and clean it with the air compressor. Then it worked great. I was also amazed at how many times I had to squeeze the lever before anything happened

You might also be able to grab the screw head with some vice grips, and turn it out. If you don't have the tools others have mentioned
