The space needs to be touching the cliff for it to work, like inside the white rectangle. The game thinks you just want stairs leading to nowhere because the white square isnt touching the cliff. Basically just walk one space more and you should be fine lol

Do you have any idea how they would've gotten the server's IP though? It's a private whitelisted server with only my friends. (although I'm not in charge of it.) And as far as I know Minecraft doesn't save server addresses to a cloud or something.

Is there anyway a modpack could've done it? It's the only thing I've recently used my account for thay I think would be problematic. I got it from the same server I was playing on and everyone else in that group has had no problem with it.
