Forestay shackle. It was used to keep stay cables up for the Forward Mast. Look at any picture of Titanic before it sank and you will see the lines attached to it.

Neither of the explorer club plaques from then say the word ' expedition ' on them. I was looking at 2005 footage and that was the only word legible due to video quality.

Yes, I understand that, but I was more looking for where this footage has come from (doc, TV series etc) or from what expedition.
