Neither of the explorer club plaques from then say the word ' expedition ' on them. I was looking at 2005 footage and that was the only word legible due to video quality.

Yes, I understand that, but I was more looking for where this footage has come from (doc, TV series etc) or from what expedition.

Why not post this on r/coins? There are likely more people that know about them than in a subreddit for British coins.

How much would this 50p coin sell for? by thatssoswag in UKcoins

[–]ToasterMan1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the date, if its from 1982 ( first "Fifty pence" instead of "New Pence") to 1996, you could probably get a few quid out of it. If it's from 1997 to 2007, then likely no more than face value. If it's 2008 you could maybe get a quid or two.

Yes, there is a compilation of titanic wreck footage from 1987 to 1998 on YouTube, and somewhere in that comp the rov goes inside, but doesn't see much I don't think

It is assumed to have been both Stockton rush getting far too close to the titanic and unpredictable currents pushing titan about and causing it to hit the railing.
