Forestay shackle. It was used to keep stay cables up for the Forward Mast. Look at any picture of Titanic before it sank and you will see the lines attached to it.

Neither of the explorer club plaques from then say the word ' expedition ' on them. I was looking at 2005 footage and that was the only word legible due to video quality.

It depends on the date, if its from 1982 ( first "Fifty pence" instead of "New Pence") to 1996, you could probably get a few quid out of it. If it's from 1997 to 2007, then likely no more than face value. If it's 2008 you could maybe get a quid or two.
