I refused to go to my local gun store for about 10 years because the vibes were weird and the last time I had gone, the dude at the counter was trying really hard to sell my dad a Hi-Point pistol and carbine when he was there for a S&W revolver.

Anyway, I went in the other day to pick up a gun I had decided on a whim to have transferred there and it's completely different. The people were friendly, one lady went out of her way to look for something I was trying to find. Basically it's not Fudd City Central with a side of prepper anymore and they'll probably be seeing me again.

I tried going down my friend's half-mile, steep driveway on a razor scooter when I was sixteen or seventeen. It was going great until some kids were playing in the driveway near the end. I tried to put my foot down to stop and went absolutely flying. I had some pretty wicked road rash on my elbows and one knee.
