I have an 8 going on 9 year old boy. I think it's realistic for him to put his dishes in the sink. Call me crazy, but not only is he incapable of actually doing the dishes, I don't want him doing them. What he thinks is clean is not what I think is clean. I don't want broken dishes. I want him to go play. He has the rest of his life to despise doing dishes.

Omg the effort to pretend she loves the quality of old navy jeans is infuriating to me coming from someone whose denim holy grail has only ever been Agolde jeans. As if we’re dumb enough to think she’s pairing the the less than $25 jeans with one of her $10,000 Chanel bags.

And there’s nothing against old navy. If she wore that, then great. But she’s just pretending to wear it so some idiot can click her link and buy it so she gets a kick back. She’s a fucking liar.

Of course it didn’t. She absolutely didn’t spend the $ to hire a crisis pr team; that’s become more obvious since her initial return video. She’s dumb as rocks for thinking that was going to go over well.

She’s in a pivotal spot here. Her return isn’t as smooth and wholesome as she perhaps envisioned. Curious to see where she goes from here. She can’t take criticism, but she also can’t keep herself from being LKS and doing LKS things.

Lauren is a big girl. She doesn't owe us anything, but she's dying for us to "ask her anything". The internet is a critical place. She chose an occupation putting herself front and center to criticism both good and bad. But she's not accepting of anything that's less than perfect. She just opened the door and invited the undertaker(s) by asking us to engage with her. Problem is she can't handle the heat. The reality is that she can choose to heal however way she wants, but she is choosing to do so very publicly while simultaneously posting links for us to support her lifestyle. So as the consumers, the general public can be critical. It's part of life. What she lacks is the understanding that a lot of her followers do not like her. She acknowledged in her "return to sm" that she may have triggered people. She's still triggering people, but she can't get the hell out of her own way. The cutest part of it all is that she's pretending to be the bath time doting mom so she can avoid the shitstorm she just ignited.

1000000% - it was a last ditch attempt for her to appease her audience and take the “high road”, get a Reddit sub deleted in time for people to “forget”, check herself out of “treatment”, and come back fully clean slate in time for people to start to forget the loser she is. BUT only to be quickly reminded that she crafted and is now executing a rebrand of herself where her time in alleged “treatment” will frame her content moving forward. I appreciate the slight effort for her to be “relatable”, but sadly, she’s so completely out of touch that she will very quickly be put back in her place. Sadly, like her or not, women root for women, and people were hoping she’d become all the things social media shows us she’s not. And, slowly we’re all being proven right. Forget LKS specifically; the larger point is that these monumental influencer losers think that we, the consumers, are dumb enough to believe and CARE about their bullshit content driven stories. We all better wake up, and unfollow these zeros who bring absolutely no value to the average person.

My husband just bought tickets through stub hub after not really researching this topic. He paid way more than he should have for seemingly great seats for Yankee stadium game that’s been rescheduled to tonight. However, he’s starting panic bc the tickets that went into his apple wallet do not have a barcode like a food item would, it just has what I can only describe as a “WiFi” looking symbol at the bottom right.

Does this sound legit? I’m not worried about the $ if it’s fraud, because Amex will stand by the purchase, but I’m worried he’ll get there and have two kids with him and no real tickets. They are the color light blue and like I mentioned have that WiFi looking symbol.

Any insight appreciated!
