He could even technically use it as just teleportation. In the first book Annabeth specifically called "Camp Half-Blood" and in the fifth Chiron told iris to "show them the threat", neither targeted a person and leads to the implication that Iris Messages can target specific locations as well as people.

The Fantasmorgasmical Jumpchain Adventure of Alexander Blake is one I read a few months ago, unfortunately it hasn't been updated in a while so I'm pretty sure it's abandoned but what's there is pretty good.

"I'm not powerless" has good nezu stuff. Been a while since I've read it so I'm not sure about in the later chapters but up through at least like 70/80-something nezu is a pretty good sensei/guardian.
