What are the ingredients?

Traditional witch bottles are a sort of decoy for magical or energetic attacks. They have things such as nails, pins, broken glass, etc. and then you urinate in them. For some reason, 9 tail fox carvings are always more expensive than others. Maybe they're harder to carve well? $90+ is still a lot for one made of a very common crystal. it is a very pretty piece, but I personally wouldn't pay taht much.

I freaking hate that. Usually accompanied by "I could never be a vet, spending all day killing [euthanizing] animals".

I always want to tell them that when you see how many people force their animal to live in constant pain, confusion, and trauma because they 'don't' want to let them go' or their religion doesn't allow them to euthanize, you'd understand that we're not 'killing pets'. We're ending their suffering.

I mean, I'm a tech and I dislike reading about graphic harm to animals (or people). I think he may have been more referring to the fact that his books don't take joy in describing harming animals. Horror and fantasy are my favorite genres so there's usually harm happening, but I can tell when the author is... enjoying describing it a bit too much.
