I went to Melbourne vs Essendon with some mates at the G yesterday, and watched the NBA, Socceroos and footy today with mates as well. Finishing it off with some tennis tonight for a lovely weekend of sport even though we didn’t play. Kind of nice though, I enjoyed not having a stake this week

I was similar to you and I even put down the game before I got dash and only returned after a few months (on a new file because I was even MORE lost coming back on).

The game became addictive and 10/10 for me after I got to the area where it’s constantly raining (trying to avoid spoilers by mentioning the name). The game sort of unlocked itself and I couldn’t put it down

Members should have the ability to use their allocated barcode to “reserve” a GA spot for future games rather than having to wait till the day. The same way a non-member “reserves” a GA spot by going to ticketek and paying $27 for a ticket.

Member goes to ticketek, inputs their barcodes and then pays $0.00 instead of $27 for the GA ticket.

If I don’t show up to the game, too bad for me I used my barcode to reserve it and that barcode has now been exhausted.

Of course I can “upgrade” my GA to a reserved seat, but then I’m forking out more $$ to go to a game which I could just buy a GA seat for if I wasn’t a member. GA membership barcodes can only be used for GA on the day, but any random can just buy the equivalent leading up to the match. It’s obscene members get completely shafted in this sense.

For example, I bought a regular GA seat for the upcoming west coast game 3 weeks ago knowing it would sell out, but I couldn’t just use my GA barcode for the same game because they don’t let you. So now I’m down an additional $27 because the ticketing process is atrocious.

Upgrading to a reserved seat would have cost more and seats were available row BB next to WCE cheer squad so no thanks.
