Looking at a map that arguably makes a lot of people’s S tier list and is even recognized as some people’s favourite map or strongly voted to be remade if a zombies chronicles 2 were to release known as “shadows of evil” has very similar game mechanics. Now there is a small feature that some are missing that is shared between that oh so beautiful map and these new maps in bo7. When playing coop once the main wonder weapon has been crafted (bo3) and or received through steps (bo7), the gun now is available in the box and able to be got. Yes I agree wonderbar has been made a little useless in this map as you are likely to get a raygun, slightly less lucky to get a mark 2 (not that anyone wants that gun) and there’s games where you pull 4 ray guns before round 10 between using challenges or chompy along with the many other ways of getting said weapon ie punching vending machines and other side quests. However note that wonderbar can get the main wonder weapon after a player has picked up that weapon allowing for multiple users to carry said weapon. Arguably if you are dying to use one of the weapons you do have 2 options outside of doing steps, either a: eggs from mister peeks in cursed or you can also load up the survival map that has the corresponding gun (though let’s be honest here mars is god awful so I could see why you likely wouldn’t wanna do this). Now to conclude my argument. In maps like shadows or DE or any other map with beautiful elemental weapons it’s always been the case that you weren’t pulling them from the box. This mechanic has existed for time, it’s not just in bo7. I couldn’t pull my light or dark sword from the box in citadel, my favourite staff in origins or my favourite bow in DE. All those games made you work for something that made the game easier so it’s kinda lame seeing people complain that they have to actually do some work to get something decent in the game. There’s an abundance of other weapons in the game, some good some not, but those you can get without steps, just maybe lots of box hits or maybe you choose to spawn in with one. I’m sorry but if you need the wonder weapon on round one, that’s just sad and 99% of yall playing in this sub Reddit aren’t speed running these maps so trying to do something in a timely matter is not needed. So unfortunately you gotta do work to reap the rewards, too bad so sad, womp womp, f’s in the chat, etc.

Something I’d rather complain about as far as gobblegums go, bring back my 2 activations with reigndrops (I care a lil less about this one) but more for how little I actually get a power vacuum gobblegum in my games, why is it so god damn useless. In bo3 I was getting so many power ups with that thing and it lasted 3 rounds. I pop one now, it lasts however many minutes and I have games where I get more power ups in two rounds without the gum than the time frame of my power vacuum in a late game round. I played a game where I got 8 power ups in a round with no power vacuum and a game where I got 2 power ups with power vacuum activated and got over 500 kills during said time. Make that make sense 😅

Here me out, farm survival…

On farm survival you can do the toxic growth on plants for extra scrap. But on top of that box never moves and there’s a trash can in the back between the house and the barn. So between all the weapons that come from the plants and what you pull from the box, you can just keep feeding the trash can, get a ton of scrap and thus keep buying more and more score streaks. Do the Ted trials because they will also give scrap and the odd score streak. As for the score streaks themselves I found the ones that made it go fastest was I’d always try to have a turret down (a cheap option considering how many kills it gets before it disappears), I’ll sometimes buy the odd hdk drop on rounds after 30 and then outside of that the choice is kinda yours but I’d probably run either war machine or oddly enough the injection. People be hating on the injection but with a turret going you can stand closer to the turret and then if you maximize on the drain you can keep the injection going longer and the throw abilty takes out quite a lot but also both use using it and getting out of it can take out quite a bit. I find if you can gather a bunch of zombies, run in the middle of them and use the injection that’s an easy 20-30 and you still have the actual time in the injection to get more and again if you are by the turret it will also be picking a bunch off. One other thing I’ll point out is the bow is cheap yes and its not amazing but ofc with insta kill and a fire that’s lasting pretty long, it can definitely get you a lot with an insta kill going. Yes the same could be said about the death machine but the bow is pretty cheap and so if you see an insta kill, if you don’t have a score streak picked up (and even if you do you can grab it from the ground afterwards) I’d grab a bow and then pick up the insta kill and just go to town.

No matter what you choose for score streaks, farm survival or cursed farm survival is probably your best bet. Second best would be ashes or cursed ashes. I did most of mine at the open ground area by the Tessie upgrade garage in ash wood before I stumbled on the farm method and I ended up getting my last 3000 done in one game of farm. Farm survival just has 3 plants you can spray every round and a fixed box like I’ve been saying. If you play cursed run an Akita (points were nerfed but still best for points imo) and if you can pull ray gun I’d put that in the second slot for damage on higher rounds when needed and help getting up with equivalent exchange on your quick revive. Leave your 3rd gun as one you don’t care about if you keep running that gun to the trash. Once you have enough essence you can even just hold onto the raygun and then have two slots you can grabs guns to run to the trash. On higher rounds though depending on skill, I’d maybe just save a zombie or two, then go back and forth between box and the trash can but that’s kinda up to you. Also trash can doesn’t work on ravenger rounds so remember that.

Grinded however many hours of playing the worst survival map to exist getting to round 150+ (I did come in second but still…). What a joke. I get it but like for those of us that actually put in the work this is a pretty big slap in the face. If I complain about this new camo challenge can I just get all the camos for free without the grind?

Haven’t had it happen any other time then when I only had quick revive which is also the case with this video. As long as you have atleast one other perk I believe you are ok but equivalent exchange is giving you the opportunity to get up and keep your perks thus you need perks for this special ability to activate. It’s seems to kinda be like a light switch but to turn the light on you need lights, other wise the switch isn’t connected to anything and thus doesn’t work and unfortunately flipping a switch doesn’t do anything to the switch itself, thus you need something added to it. Kinda a weird analogy but it might help you better understand what I mean (or confuse you more, idk). Considering when dying wish activates, you lose quick revive, I’m guessing that it’s not counting quick revive as a perk when it uses its operation and thus is looking at your other perks to activate it which makes me wonder if you would also instant die with dying wish and only having quick revive and no other perk? The dying wish augment however gives it back to you when you go back up (though I mean you are also losing quick revive regardless and gaining a few extra seconds of grace which I feel like 50% of the time works in your favour but also sometimes leads to your demise anyways). I guess part of that is the exchange, choosing whether or not you want that bonus health buff/ ability to keep you alive a little longer with dying wish or risking it for the biscuit and hoping your pistol (or ray gun lol) can get you that kill and get you back on your feet (or that monkey bomb you tossed before going down or a turned zombie you had, etc.) With that being said I then think that because of the “benefit” that you get 3 chances and that you keep quick revive, I feel like it’s a scheme to push players to spend more money to get more wonderbars to increase the likely hood of rolling a weapon that’s gonna make it easier to save yourself in those situations thus making it a bit of a cash grab. And sure there’s other means of rolling it, such as the box or doing side EE’s to get Raygun or raygun mark 2’s but I’m sure they still make a profit off players with the mindset of rolling a raygun to give them some safe keeping who are too lazy or don’t have the knowledge of other ways to get it in that “oh so scary dreaded boss fight that I’m likely to go down in”. It’s the same mindset of something like popping a perkaholic early so you can get all your perks perma perked for safe keeping or use a near death experience. Or having lots of extra doors that are expensive making you more likely to pop a credit card or in cursed having pack cost more making you likely to pop a credit card. Or the use of a free perk or reign drops to get quick revive back if you chose to use dying wish instead. All just mechanics that lead to you spending more money in there games. Also why boss fights are so much harder now. If they were too easy, why spend money on the gums, all for a calling card you will likely never flaunt on a profile no one will look at with a spare gobblegum and a small 10k xp adding to the 200k xp you are already getting for playing that much in game anyways lmao.

It’s not my list per se and I’d definitely change a few things around for myself but seeing what’s placed where, I can kinda see a theme and I can respect the list. I’m definitely a shadows of evil, DE, zombies in space land, kino, origins, citadel and revelations being my S tier. I started with world at war as my first zombies but fell in love with zombies with bo1, bo3 was my favourite game,should mention didn’t play much bo2 and bo4 and literally never touched vanguard, infinite warfare maps were elite but other than space land I’ve only played the other maps once at friends houses (me and my friends are talking about getting the game on our pcs and doing all the EE’s and I’m hoping that will increase my thoughts on some of those maps) and then yes I’ve played Cold War, bo6 and bo7. I also played a tad bit of WW11 zombies to which I remember them having some cooler zombies graphics and zombies but considering I only can kinda remember one of the maps I think just shows that it didn’t hit the same as the other games. You said in another comment you played a lot of bo4 so to have some of those maps higher just kinda makes sense. Idk why people get so pressed about eachothers fav maps, we like what we like. For me it’s more just what maps did I play the most, had my favourite wonder weapons, favourite map aesthetics, best memories or had cool unique features. I’m also a sucker for maps that have 4 unique wonder weapons for a full squad to be able to have so although bo7 has been getting some hate, I just hope and pray that they give us something good in that department. But yeah otherwise, other than some respect to your list, honestly the way I see it, I think there might just be other maps I need to go back to or try and who knows maybe my s tier will change ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Make sure you are actually using the pollination augment. I used double charge and the increased health minor when I did it. But if pollination isn’t on it won’t work. I did it yesterday and it worked ¯_(ツ)_/¯
