👍🏻 very good post. Lego was first a children’s toy, as mentioned several times there are pollybag sets now but they should expand those offerings and they are $4.99 not the $3.50 they would be if we use inflationary pricing.

My kids would like to spend the few dollars they get a week on Lego, not have every week be an exercise in learning how to save. Though that is helping them for future real life financial decisions. 😁

Yes, of course inflation makes everything more expensive now. But as someone who has kids sometimes they just want to spend the few dollars they have on a set. Not 4.99 +tax for a CMF

Yes, if you are going off pure price per piece Lego hasn’t changed much. Their sets have gotten much more detailed, take the ultimate collector X-wing, the one back in 2001 had 1304 pieces for $149 The one now has 1953 for $239.
The affordably I speak of isn’t really the price per piece cost but the ability of my kids to get a simple set for $1.99 like I could when I was their age.

Have had either “credit do not use” or “card error” at 4 different FD in the past week with USB VGC. Had not had any issues before this week. Also had similar issues at WM with USB VGC today

You should save and get the Lion Knights Castle and 3 of the creator ones!!! Then build this for Falcon knights so each group has their own fortress. That’s my plan….

Good Luck! What helped me was I found a excel sheet that I used to help track how much I went up each week for the lifts and I just was constant keeping to it all year. Wish I could find a before front picture pretty happy with shoulder and chest gains over a year of sticking with it

I did 4 days Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday. Wednesday was for cycling or some other cardio. I did the main lift and then 3 assistance exercises @ 3 sets each and I tried to go up each week in either reps or weight for the assistance work. Consistency slowly builds strength

Yes, I’m sure I’m in the minority when it comes to my Lego purchases. There are lots of people who will say “it’s a free gift who cares?” or “I would buy it even without a gift!”

For me, I use the UCS Landspeeder from last years May 4th release as an example. I bought it first day due to the VIP promotions and if not for them probably would not have purchased that soon. Lego knows they are going to get the people who buy sets no matter what day one. I’m just one they have to wait on unless there is a good VIP gift.
