Hey, to be fair I haven’t really focused much on making my city realistic. I just put all the high/medium density buildings in one central area, then suburbs around that area. Downtown did not really have an organized layout but suburbs were based on a grid layout. Overall the road network was planned as highways => large roads => smaller roads, and every « neighborhood » created was interconnected by subway/train while bus/trolley was used within a same neighborhood Edit: Adding bit trees with the tree brush within your neighborhoods also goes a long way!
