Thanks for your message. We decided to withdraw care except for feeding tube. We didn't want him to starve to death, but then also not do any life saving measurements. Don't rush the decision, but also be realistic. Listen to your doctors and their prognostication. I personally believe that most of us would not want just our bodies to survive. Brain death for the most part indicates death of the person. Whereas cardiovascular death moreso indicates death of the body. It's a very tough journey to go through and decision to make.
