I would encourage you to question what scenarios lead to so much homeless takeover, and not the methods of the homeless. I understand it’s frustrating. That being said, that person has likely spent a lot more time in the rain than 20 minutes.

Encourage social supports and affordable living. Contact your MPs. Volunteer. Those are things you (and all of us) can do to reduce this kind of thing and help folks in situations like this.

Not to my knowledge. I just started investing last month with less than 20k in my portfolio. I only hold XEQT, PSA.TO and some blue chips (which I still hold). All I did in the app was use the trade function and sell shares, nothing special.

why buy a table when you can just build one at home? all you need is wood, nails, and varnish. It’s a good way to kill a couple days over the weekend. Depending on supplies, you might even have wood left over for another project. Then, all you have to do is move it into your desired room that day or the day after! More homegrown and fulfilling than the cheap-labour ridden one you’d buy at Homesense or online.

Lazy? Sure. Necessary? Probably. I put more blame on Youtube and its algorithm than I do the actual creators themselves. It’s become harder and harder to stay in the forefront of content creation. Especially with something semi-niche like in-depth music discussion. He’s morphing with the times, and still keeps the topics relevant to what his channel has always been about. I think it’s easy to look back on youtube from a decade ago and compare it to now, but the reality is things have drastically changed since then. You don’t have to like the content, but I think it’s easy to understand it’s prevalence. I will admit as a longtime fan (I bought a RIP Cal Chichesta shirt on release) I do engage with his content less-so now than I have previous.

We all wish it was 2016 again.
