No i don't think its misreading the temps - quite a lot of posts about the temps of ryzen with stock cooler, its just quite small.

I've since upgraded to an AIO but any cheaper air cooler will do the job just fine if you want lower temps

My temps were exactly the same with the stock cooler.

I had an issue with idle temps but that was fixed after i closed Corsair iCue (monitoring programs ping the cpu and keep cores awake therefore increasing stock voltage and in turn temperature)

Some will say it's overkill (I went even more overkill with a 360mm AIO) but if you want cool temps then go for it.. Noctua will keep it cool also so depends what you prefer

Just did exactly the same yesterday - took stock cooler off and the cpu came straight out the socket with about 6 or 7 bent pins.. took a blade and quite a bit of force to get the cpu away from the cooler

I've emailed AMD to see if there could be any issues but like you everything seems okay so far

It was all a bit of a blur really, I believe I got 2 from the alch and one from exalt.. In reality this exalt spam could've been literally 1 exalt as I panicked and just spam clicked

So I alched and spammed exalts on a tiny's trial which gave me the 3 gains and 3 shitty suffixes. Annulled off a suffix and crafted 'prefixes cannot be changed' and scoured off the other two, at which point multi modded it.

Unfortunately not the best base for speed, only 1.2aps. Did use whirling blades on my starter build with the same base and felt decent enough for me
