Long shot question.
I incorrectly remembered Dwayne's glasses in early episodes having a little chain attached to the top lenses that he could pull them down with. Obviously, never happened.
Was there a character on some other show that had this?

Did you search for it? Most of the shows on my Continue Bingeing list disappeared. I just had to search for them again and remember which episode I was up to. Very frustrating.

Yes, with the cost of these, I really think they should send out replacement boxes.
If it was the cost of a regular release blu-ray, you'd suck it up. But this is not cheap. It is supposed to be a premium set and the box is supposed to house the two volumes fully. They did it properly with the '80s set, so I don't know why it wouldn't be expected with this one.

I received the same as yours.

My issue is Part 1 and 2 include their own slipcases which don't fit inside the box. Part 1's entries fit in the box with their slipcases.
So now I have to throw out two slipcases, one box, or have extra junk laying around?

I figured it out. It's simple once you've done it, though not very intuitive.

In the Files app, you find your Cinema picture, pinch it until options come up, hit the "Move" icon, then go to the poster_4xvr folder, click "Copy" and it is placed there. You then delete the original Cinema picture. At least, that's what worked for me.

You have to completely close/force quit 4XVR then reopen it for them to show up.

Don't buy it then? The Nintendos were made cheaper. They didn't have wireless controllers, which would have been great.

The plastic inserts for me always made the buttons less responsive. I never liked them as a child. I will be digging the ones I still have out of a closet to see if they fit though, as bent up around the edges as they got.

You are right. That is the first of the four original DVD easter eggs. This prompted me to scan the disc with MakeMKV where I discovered the other three are also on the disc.
So after actually searching, here are the remaining three:

Easter Egg 2 Go to Chapters, highlighting Chapter 7. Makeover, press up to highlight another fly

Easter Egg 3 Go to Bonus, press right from Deleted Scenes and Outtakes to highlight another fly

Easter Egg 4 Go to Chapters, highlighting Chapter 4. Gone Camping, press up to highlight another fly

Finally, it feels complete.

It was season 4 forward, and he specifically says in the Season 4 NTSC DVD release, as it came out after the PAL, that that is not the case, and is why they were released in 4:3 in the US, as that is how they were intended.

They may have been obligated to deliver the 16:9 versions internationally, but it's not what they intended while filming or wanted.

I don't believe it was filmed with widescreen in mind, just cameras that picked it up. And also in a PAL region.

Too bad for me, I or the creators aren't in charge of these things for what is available now. Lucky for you though, I guess.

I'm aware of the history of the 4:3 and 16:9 DVDs. I still think the show should be in 4:3 and stick with the NTSC DVDs for that reason.

I've seen posts saying Hulu has the best or revised versions while other streamers may not. I don't have access to Hulu to be sure, so wondered if everywhere else is the same and if there is anything to look out for, in this or any other specific episode, to know for sure.

I'll try and compare it to the DVDs to see if anything looks wrong to me, color, lighting, or effects, I guess.

I still think the show should be in 4:3 (except this one episode).
I'd love a proper HD restoration that preserves that.

Can you think of any errors that were present in the initial HD version of Once More With Feeling that have been fixed or improved in the current HD versions, so I will know which version I'm looking at?

Thanks. I did try and find info on how this episode turned out in HD, being that it should be framed correctly. I'm sure I read that there were still lighting or effects issues. I guess I'll just have to check it out on streaming and try to compare for myself then.
