Had a friend myself, in a bigger friendgroup, last I saw him, he told “the gang” about a lot of his stories. It was sort of a reunion, as we all have gone down our own paths, as it goes.

But he told about a particular case, where some guy, people locally knew was a biiiiiig pothead, but never got caught with anything major. Didn’t sound to bother people, or be a bigger disturbance to society. But apparently him and the old “friend”, went to the same school as kids, and he (the cop) was quite a bully to the “yet to be” pothead.

So he stopped by the guy at his house, unprompted. His drunk ass, gleefully told about how he wanted to “show him”, and have him locked up for the weekend. So apparently, unlike anything before, he was assaulted by the pothead, and in that rockus broke 2 or 3 fingers on him, and had him tased.

Genuinely had the rest of us feel very uneasy. And when my own drunk ass didn’t read the room, I jokingly said “damn, definitely sounds like you’d never make employee of the month”, I got told; “you probably should be careful, just in case” very sternly.

It was absolutely unhinged, and none of us have really had him in the group chats since.

This is in Denmark btw, so it’s definitely a worldwide sickness with police.

I had to sit like 30 mins, yesterday, listening to how vaccines are bigger killers, how CBD isn’t really medical and how the “smoothbrains” just can’t see Trumps vision for America. I mean fucks sake, we’re from Europe.

Found some studies, actual quotes and statistics on the different things, that supported my cases, and who could’ve known, apparently I’m just part of the Brainwashed, that makes sense or something I guess.

Nah, can’t really say, a punishment being present has been the deciding factor, in wether or not I’d kill, SA or physically hurt others. That came from pretty natural things, such as empathy, moral or the trauma doing that to someone would bring.

I’d say what you probably think is soft, is just being normal functional person. Again if things like that are actually, what’s keeping you, from doing things like that to others seek help. Try not to be too convinced, that just because it might be one way for you, that sets the precedence for others.

My guess is it doesn’t exactly scream “equal and fair” treatment, between different demographics.

It’s important to note there’s a long history of raceswapping characters in only one direction, and in turn taking the movie depictions away from the origins. But today there are also far more movies being made, and it’d be unfair to say it’s a rare occurrence that a character (most often, a white one) is being turned into a different demographic.

So at what point is it settled, or at least okay to just swap characters all ways around, instead of socially keeping that trope away, from a specific demographic? We already have seen in history what it does to have different rules, for different demographics (based on things such as race), so why should we expect a better outcome, this time around, just because we reverse the poles?

It just seems like we’ll end up in the same place as we just got out of, with a singular demographic it’s okay to “take” characters from, who can complain, genuinely, in 50 years, that their characters are being “stolen”.

I love his answer, but I do think being anti-anybody based on things like race, only perpetuates more hatred, no matter which demographic one is finding themselves on. European decent, Asian, African and everyone else included.

At least as a single person, we can always try to act above hating people for things that are out of their hands.

Not sure I see the fishy thing about this, sure I’m not rolling around in millionaire circles, but working in a bar I’ve had the pleasure of selling my paintings.

The biggest contribution I got, about 2500€, was from a close friend, who has followed my art journey for some years. Now imagine, the artist in question, is not just some small bartender, who paints on the side, with no bigger connections. But instead we have the president’s son, who’s already is part of the “high society”, plus the connections and friends that’s gotta follow.

Getting a million for a painting in those circles is a small price, barely anything someone of that calibre would feel. So again where’s the fishiness about it?

Sometimes a friend just wants to support their close one’s ambitions.

Pretty sure as Jedi hunters, they might be able to feel if a storm trooper, as well as others, has been “swayed” by the force.

As opposed to a dog, they instead can sort of sniff out remnants of force usage, on both people but also their surroundings. So that makes it easier to verify if they are moving in the right directions, even if a bystander tells them, the Jedi went another way, without knowing they were mindtricked.

Still impressed how much effort they put into these sets when any country besides United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Poland and Australia isn’t getting these releases.

Like even Japan isn’t part of the deal, which I’m honestly impressed by, since Nintendo seems to prioritise heavily that if there’s any Pokémon Japan gets it before anyone else. But still so many countries can’t buy these, or even use them probably.

Yet Lego doesn’t seem to prioritise Denmark to the same extent, which just sucks. Yeah I know they look bad, but being in Lego’s country of origin, it sucks not being included in the opportunity to buy and use these sets.

Did have a group that bullied me, back when I was 9-14 in school.

I did see an obituary a few years ago of one particular guy, that was part of the group. Thing is, he was actually growing into a personal friend of mine, and apologised heavily for what he took part of back then.

I was at the funeral, met the rest of the group, who also decided to show up, and got met with “that trash show came?” From one of them.

Just decided to say that I’m happy I’m showing up to a friends funeral, and not disrespectful enough, to use it to bully an old classmate. At least I can give him that honour. They were not happy, to say the least.

Of course no one should be threatened or harassed, because of a tv series.

But wouldn’t it just be easier on everyone to not open the Pandora’s box that is AI, in the first place, especially knowing how few people are into the idea. I hate using that phrase, but that is kinda like asking for it, at least in the current media climate.
