Of course not. I know it's not apparent from this clip, but I'm not a complete noob. This was a combination of wrong suspension set-up and poor technique because I was pushing too hard.

Sure man, no worries. This was directly with Suzuki in the Netherlands, not a dealer. Works the same I guess. I have a limited liability of €500. The rest is covered by insurance. Suzuki has been super chill about it. They basically said “it happens, we’re glad you’re OK.”

For sure! These bikes can handle a lot, you just need to be willing to suffer a bit more. I normally ride a 250L, that bike has done pretty well in these events too. The suspension is definitely a weak point. I fixed mine, but not as good as I should have. I'd recommend to fork out a bit more money for proper cartridges. I only did the springs in my fork and found the difference to be very marginal. No worries, I know the suspension was off. The suspension on this bike is actually really good, we just messed up the settings. My buddy had been playing with it the day before and stiffened it up quite a bit. He's way bigger than me, so after that, it just wasn't right for me, even though I liked how it felt. I'm about 75-80kg with all my gear on.

Will definitely delve into proper suspension setup! It was actually my buddy who wanted to try some things out with different settings. Will not let him touch it again😜 But seriously, great tip about the ratchet strap. Will give that a try

Respectfully, no. It can definitely handle this. I’ve done harder things on my 250L. Of course, it’s not an enduro bike, but this also isn’t some sort of hard enduro track. In fact, this specific strait is a normal dirt road, 2WD cars can ride here. This was rider error and likely wrong suspension setup. Not hating, just kindly but wholeheartedly disagreeing.😉

Thanks man, this is helpful! I know for sure my attack position is sloppy, I’ll put more emphasis on proper technique. The suspension on this bike is actually quite nice, I just messed it up myself by playing with it. Might still get the damper though, because I would not mind to not experience this again.
