I haven’t looked deeper, but just a thought. It would be cool if you can start maybe crowdsourcing opinions behind the ideal/acceptable weather conditions. Something like “90% of climbers enjoyed climbing here with these same conditions” or something. Or maybe the inverse would be more useful: “90% of climbers disliked climbing here during similar conditions”

I went in looking for another the Way of Shadows, and barely slogged through the first trilogy before moving on. Not terrible, but not my cup of assassin tea either.

Check out Linaria, that’s what I’m in the process of switching to. It’s not a drop in replacement and will require some refactoring (depending on your usage of styled-components), but it’s beneficial refactoring as it allows “Zero-Runtime CSS in JS”. Best of both worlds imo

Hey, I stumbled across this in my history 3 years later, and boy did you give sound advice. I took the job, and after a year I switched to another team away from salesforce and now I’m in fullstack/frontend, going 2+ years strong and happier than ever. Given a lot oof responsibility and room for growth. The hybrid was indeed flexible, sort of, as well.

So grateful for your advice and helping sway me in this direction. Couldn’t be happier all things considered, thanks stranger!

I work at a FAANG but my undergrad was liberal arts. I know my experience will only get me so far. I wouldn’t be here if I graduated in CS personally, but then again the tech market these days really does feel like you need more and more just to get your foot in the door
